Keyword research is one of the most important thing to understand if you want to make money online. So, in this post I’m going to write about how to do keyword research using Google Keyword Planner.
What Is The Google
Google Keyword Planner is a tool that figures out how many searches are being made per month world wide for a certain keyword. Also it’s very helpful for advertisers to get through the process of creating new ad groups and campaigns. Note that all you need is the Google Keyword Planner is a gmail account.
How Does The Visitor Comes
To Your Site Through Keywords?
Step 1: The visitor opens the browser and types “www.google.com”
Step 2: The visitor types on the box of google search “Online Marketing” since the visitor wants to know more about this topic.
Step 3: The page results are shown in the figure below. As you can see the results highlighted with the blue color are paid ads. And below the paid ads the links highlighted with red color are the results from SEO and quality content!
Step 4: Then visitor clicks one of the links from organic traffic. As you can see, doing keyword research is about ranking in the 1’st spot on the Google! Then it’s up to your how you monetize the page, or the post!
Step By Step Process How To Do
Keyword Research With Google Keyword Planner
Step 1: Open the browser, enter the Google URL: “http://www.google.com”and on the search box enter “google keyword planner” as shown in the Fig. 1
Step 2: The “Google Keyword Planner” tool shows up. Note that I’m already logged in with the gmail account. After you get logged in click the highlighted red box as shown in the Fig. 2
Step 3: Now enter the keyword “online marketing” as shown in Fig. 3
And for targeting choose the English speaking countries by clicking the button as shown in Fig. 4
Then choose the countries such as: USA, United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Canada as shown below:
And in the end click the button “Get Ideas” as shown in Fig. 6
Step 4: This is the result as shown in Fig. 7
Step 5: Download the keywords by clicking the “Download” button as shown in Fig. 8
Then continue and press again the button “Download” from the pop up as shown in Fig. 9
Step 6: Study the spreadsheet and see the best keywords you can pick as shown in the Fig. 10. Note that I have deleted some unnecessary columns in this Excel spreadsheet!
Note that this article doesn’t show you which keyword you should pick since that is going to be for another post. And what you want to do when you select the keywords is that you should write one article for each keyword.
